Wylie Cable

"Dog Park"

2018

"And now “Dog Park” has found new life yet again in this masterful stop-motion video by Arizona artist Gabriella Molina, who turns chopped-up National Geographics and textbooks into a symbolically supercharged Harry Smith-style thesis on the human condition."  -L.A. Record, 2019

This collage animation piece was mostly done in the analog stop motion style. Many of the characters are gender (and species) fluid. They tell a story of contemplation, understanding and transformation. This film also features hand-drawn animation and is the second collaboration with LA musician and record label owner Wylie Cable of Dome of Doom records.
